Certification of welding quality
In May 2021, Avermann Laser- und Kant-Zentrum GmbH in Thuringia was awarded “Certification of welding quality requirements in accordance with DIN EN ISO 3834-3” and “Factory production control for load-bearing welded steel components up to EXC 2 in accordance with EN 1090-2” for the first time.
What does this mean for our collaboration?
Certification in accordance with DIN EN 3834-3 underlines the high quality of our welded products. The international series of standards DIN EN ISO 3834 ff. specifies welding quality requirements for manufacturers and regulates the principles for quality assurance of fusion-welded components and structures.
DIN EN ISO 3834 applies to all welding applications. It assumes the function of the quality management system in welding and is also the basis for fulfilling the standard requirements in specific application regulations such as EN 1090-1.
The essential prerequisite for the certification and monitoring of factory production control is our established, functioning and documented quality assurance system in accordance with DIN EN 1090-1. With the WPK, Avermann Laser- und Kant-Zentrum GmbH guarantees full transparency of the manufacturing process.
With the certificate, we not only prove the qualification of our employees and the required technical equipment, but also compliance with the specified essential product characteristics of our components. The certificate is an absolute prerequisite for the CE marking of our steel components and the associated free movement of goods within the EU.
