Together with the French partner SARP, Groupe Veolia, a project for shredding and storing food waste was launched. The resulting system is used to prepare the food waste for further processing in biogas plants. 160 applications were received, with two companies reaching the final in each category. Avermann came out on top against Eurovia in the “Environment and Technology” category. A stylish glass stele now adorns the company premises.
